Trust Wallet launches browser extension, integrates with Binance Pay and Coinbase Pay

Following the collapse of FTX, self-custody has become an increasingly talked about topic. In the nick of time, Trust Wallet, one of the more popular self-custodial wallets, launched its own browser extension to make self-custody that much simpler.

The browser extension, which launched on Nov. 14, will be available in Google Chrome and Opera and will allow users to store, send and receive crypto across all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains and Solana.

The extension will also offer multi-wallet support, NFT support, fiat on-ramp providers, and non-EVM blockchain integrations, as well as hardware wallet support.

Shortly following this, Binance and Coinbase announced on Nov. 16 that they would begin offering Trust Wallet integration — with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao publicly endorsing Trust Wallet, stating that "self-custody is a fundamental human right."

Will this increased accessibility in self-custody be the key to a bullish resurgence in the crypto market?
