Banned: CBDCs in US?

Dear Reader, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis may not be the "Governator". But he vows to terminate CBDC's in the U.S. if he's elected president. He means it too. In May, he passed a law prohibiting use of a federal digital dollar in Florida. The same law banned foreign CBDC's in Florida as well.  So it's no stretch to believe he will stick to his guns. Should he make it to the White House.  Especially if you look at what he said during a recent interview with Tucker Carlson. DeSantis quipped…   "If I am the president, on day one, we will nix central bank digital currency. Done. Dead. Not happening in this country," DeSantis said to clarify his opposition to the technology. He further concluded that "CBDC is a massive threat to American Liberty." Like many, he believes a digital dollar controlled by central authorities will ultimately infringe upon privacy rights.  He's not alone in his views. Democrat, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is pro-Bitcoin but also anti CBDCs.  Kennedy considers them "instruments of control and oppression, [that] are certain to be abused." Keep in mind that CBDCs are NOT a form of cryptocurrency. Crypto is decentralized. CBDCs are created and controlled by the FED.
