Has TikTok defeated Crypto Twitter?

In a moment reminiscent of the early Crypto Twitter days of 2013, TikTok bandwagoned to pump the legendary Dogecoin to a high of $0.04 cents on Binance.US — an amazing windfall for the Hodlers who held their Dogecoin all this time. Using Robinhood, buyers mimicked the recent purchasing of shares of bankrupt companies like Hertz. Did you buy any Doge during that pump?
To new traders: Be careful! Serious pump-and-dumps like this can leave you hodling the bag, which a lot of new traders ended up doing in 2017. It is important to know when you buy and have an exit strategy every time you trade. How long are you trading for? What is your stop loss? How much are you willing to lose? How much profit are you planning on taking? Never enter a trade without making these decisions. This is fundamental to taking profit. Good luck out there! See you on the moon.
This is why it is important to be informed on all things markets and trading. Our Markets Twitter account is helpful for staying up-to-date with crypto markets from your community at Cointelegraph.
